Our Story
A Legacy of Faith Since 1973
Great Faith Ministries International traces its rich spiritual heritage to January 7, 1973, when it was founded as Faith Apostolic Temple by the late Elder Royal Titus Bozeman and Corrine Yvonne Bozeman, the beloved parents of Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson. Their unwavering commitment to the Word of GOD, apostolic ministry, and authentic faith established a strong biblical foundation that continues to shape the ministry today. Their vision was to build a church where lives would be transformed through the preaching of the Gospel, the demonstration of faith, and the power of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Following the passing of Elder Royal Titus Bozeman in 1986, the mantle of leadership was entrusted to Wayne T. Jackson and Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson, continuing the legacy established by her parents. In 1987, under the pastoral leadership of Wayne T. Jackson, the ministry entered a new season of growth and was renamed Greater Faith Ministries, reflecting an expanded vision to reach beyond the local congregation. As the ministry's influence extended across the nation and around the world, it later became known as Great Faith Ministries International, representing its global mission and impact.
In 1992, the ministry relocated from Inkster, Michigan, to Detroit, Michigan, positioning Great Faith for greater influence throughout the city, the nation, and the world. Under the visionary leadership of Bishop Wayne T. Jackson and Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson, Great Faith flourished into a thriving congregation of more than 3,000 members, becoming known for sound biblical teaching, prophetic ministry, passionate worship, community outreach, and the empowerment of believers to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Building upon that vision, the ministry expanded its influence through media with the launch of the Impact Television Network (Impact Network) in the early 2000s. Today, it is recognized as the largest African American-founded and independently owned Christian television network, broadcasting inspirational programming to more than 90 million homes throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa, extending the Gospel to millions around the world.
In 2024, Great Faith Ministries International embraced a new era of digital ministry with the launch of Impact Great Faith Global. This virtual ministry was created to disciple, equip, and spiritually connect believers across the globe through live worship experiences, biblical teaching, prayer, discipleship, and authentic online fellowship. Together with the ministry's digital platforms, Impact Great Faith Global ensures that believers everywhere remain spiritually covered, connected to apostolic leadership, and actively engaged in the mission of advancing the Kingdom of GOD—regardless of geographic location.

One Living True God
We believe in one living true God as The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. By placing our faith in Jesus Christ who sacrificed Himself by dying on the cross, He has atoned for the sins of the world.
Resurrection & New Life
We believe His resurrection gives new life through the Holy Spirit. As children of God we are joint heirs with Christ Jesus.
Five-Fold Ministry
We are a five-fold ministry who operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 4:11.
Communion
Communion is a part of our remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice and gift of salvation to the world.

Bishop Wayne T. Jackson
Senior Pastor
Bishop Wayne T. Jackson has served as senior pastor since 1987, following the passing of founder Elder Royal Titus Bozeman. A prophetic voice and apostolic leader, he has spent decades preaching the uncompromising Word of God, building believers, strengthening families, and impacting nations. Under his leadership, the ministry relocated to Detroit in 1992, grew to over 3,000 members, and launched the Impact Television Network — reaching over 90 million homes. In 2024, he spearheaded the launch of Impact Great Faith Global, extending the ministry's discipleship and reach worldwide.
Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson
Senior Pastor
Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson is a dynamic woman of God, prophet, and educator who serves as Senior Pastor with grace and excellence. The daughter of founders Elder Royal Titus and Corrine Yvonne Bozeman, she carries forward a powerful legacy of faith. Her ministry focuses on empowering women, building strong families, and nurturing the next generation of leaders through the School of Ministry.
